Cardiff Dog Days of Summer is hosted by Cardiff 101 Main Street and the City of Encinitas. This free event is open to the public and features dog-related vendors, rescue groups, and pet adoption agencies. Activities include dog contests, live music, a libation lounge (ticketed), food trucks, and more!
Are you interested in becoming a vendor at our 2024 event?
All vendors must fill out an application before reserving a space. Applications, documents, and payment must be received by June 14, 2024.
All food vendors must obtain San Diego County Health Department permits. Click “Food Vendor Application” for more details.

The Event
Cardiff Dog Days of Summer is presented by Cardiff 101 Main Street and the City of Encinitas. This free event features numerous dog-related vendors, rescue groups, pet adoption agencies, and an obstacle course by Urban K9. San Diego Fire Department demonstrations will happen thoughout the day. Activities include dog contests, live music, a libation lounge hosted by The Lost Abbey, food trucks, and more!
Rescue Row
“Rescue Row” is presented by the Rancho Coastal Humane Society. All Rescue Row event proceeds are donated to Rancho Coastal Humane Society whose focus is to rescue, shelter, and find homes for companion animals while promoting humane ideals through education and community outreach.
The City of Encinitas “Pet Health Expo” will be on-site providing pet micro-chipping thanks to San Diego Humane Society.
Dog Contests: Sign up day of event starting at 9 AM
Does your dog like to strut its stuff? Our popular dog contests are back! Compete in a contest, and you could take home a ribbon for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. First-place winners will receive a goodie basket filled with dog food, treats, toys, and more! Registration starts the day of the event at 9:00 am for $10 per contest, cash or credit/debit.
